What if the formula for a youthful face
had more to do with balance and less to do with more surgery?
Facelift Surgery in NYC with Dr. Kotlus
Dr. Kotlus is a top-rated facelift surgeon in NYC who is sought for his expertise in achieving natural-looking results and selecting a customized surgical plan for each patient. He routinely incorporates facial fat grafting, cosmetic eyelid lifting, and laser skin resurfacing in his facelift procedures to create a balanced rejuvenation that helps you look 10 years younger without the fake or artificial look.
For 5 years, Dr. Kotlus was the director of a national facelift instruction course where he taught other surgeons how to refine their facelifting and fat grafting skills and he is currently writing a textbook on facelift surgery.
What Dr. Kotlus’ Patients Say About Their Facelifts:
“I had a mini-lift, upper eyelid surgery and fat graft. I have not met a more caring plastic surgeon and I have used Park Ave royalty in the past. I consulted only with top surgeons and by a total fluke ended up consulting with Dr. Kotlus, never intending to go with him. He has been nothing but amazing. I am fortunate that I found him, after spending thousands on consults with 5 other NYC/Long Island based surgeons, I went with my gut and could not be happier.”
Why a facelift?
A neck lift (or facelift) is the most effective and long-lasting way to eliminate neck sagging and jowls with advanced, minimally-invasive surgery, giving your jawline and face a more youthful shape.
Perfectly suited for:
- Sagging neck skin
- Neck bands
- Heavy neck
- Jowls
Types of facelifts:
- Mini-facelift, S-lift, MACS lift (for early aging signs and minor to moderate jowls)
- Full facelift, SMAS lift (for more advanced aging signs and neck bands)
- Volume facelift, layered facelift, three-dimensional facelift (includes fat grafting and laser resurfacing)
Which type of face lift do I need?
This depends on your goals, the severity of your facial aging, the structure of your face, and other factors that are discussed in your consultation with Dr. Kotlus in one of his NY offices.
How a facelift works
Facelift Recovery
After the procedure, noticeable swelling and bruising are expected for 1 to 3 weeks. Stitches are removed after 1 week. Most people are able to attend social events in 2 to 3 weeks after the procedure.
Final healing and results can take 6 to 12 months to occur. Any areas of numbness and tightness around the ears or cheeks will typically improve during this time.
Resultant scars from the facelift incisions will typically fade over a period of months and are disguised within the hairline and pre-existing creases around the ear and under the chin.
